oh, I got the Microman bug already.
in fact, I should have my 1st two on Monday or Tuesday.
and two more a week after that.
MOO-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Another has joined our ranks.
Soon it will lead to another's Microman addiction!

Glad to hear you're pickin' up more 3-3/4" stuff, Dr. Peeker. There's a lot of kick-ass stuff to choose from, like Train Battle Spidey (4" is close enough). Some of the Joe product has been hit or miss, but there're a lot of awesome figures coming out in the next six months or so.
It looks like Hasbro has started listening to the fans and is putting out some wicked stuff in time for the holiday season.
Rock!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Haven't seen the set around, and it was due in stores in July. Since Takara's Microman Spider-Man is indefinitely on hold, I'll be glad to have this little guy to make up for it, as it were.TRAIN BATTLE PLAYSET
Straight from the big screen smash, children can reenact Spider-Man's big battle with Doc Ock. This free wheeling train car opens to reveal a complete play environment. Includes an exclusive 4" Magnetic Spider-Man and nine spectacular action features, including Reach N Seek Tentacles, Spin N Shoot Claws, and Flip, Stick, N Spin Spider-Man.
Don't know if the Train Battle Playset is in limited release, or if it got held up in customs like ML6 did, but either way, I'm gettin' it now.
If I find a cheaper one down the line, I'll keep it MIP, 'cuz I know I'll want another.
dang!
that's worth getting just for the Spidey!
and you'll be happy to know those Joes you sent me way back, have got me buying more 3 3/4" figs now.
Microman is like the Tequila shot of toy collecting.
You think you're getting just one or two, but you end up broke, laying on the floor somewhere talking about how much you love everyone.
Okay, I don't know where I'm going with that.
I do.
Those 'props' from The Corps figs peek?
That's a nice Spidey set. never seen it. How much?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Never seen it in person, either, but I've been anticipating the set since it was shown at Toy Fair '04. I have no idea if it's in limited release, due to the Spider-Man 2 stuff not selling as well as Toy Biz had hoped, but I didn't want to take the chance of it selling out and not getting one, or paying MORE in the long-run.Originally posted by Galactus the Planet Eater:

I think it was $34.99 + $7.50 S&H, which, I'll admit, is a little steep, but it's also been a life-long dream of mine to have a 1:18 scale Spider-Man figure with as much articulation as a GI Joe. Takara's announcement that their 4" Spider-Man was on hold (and possibly cancelled) stung pretty hard, but luckily I'll have this one.
It was one of those things where I have the money right now, and I'd really like to own it... plus I'll be reviewing the set over at www.lofimagazine.com . Also, it's a lot better than the $60+ I've seen it going for on eBay.
On a slightly related note, my custom 4" Takara black symbiote Spider-Man is *almost* done... needs some detail work and touch-ups, but it's lookin' good. Hope to have pics up within the week.
